question about water-colours

or more specifically, what do you use for line-art when you draw with water-colours?
pencils? coloured pencils?, ink? some special pen-thing-gizmo?

and when do you do the lineart?
before applying the water-colours or after ... some methods won't work before I guess since painting over it with water-colours wouldn't be advisable ...

sort of, though it's more like a style block ... I'm trying new things, mostly just scribbling around though, so no new fodder for DeviantArt

I hope you won't think me strange, but I can't help but squeal in joy and delight at all your drawings. Your Mass Effect chibi drawings in particular have overloaded my cuteness meter.

It has inspired me to take up drawing again and to attempt to hone my chibi drawing skills. For that I thank you. :)

wow, I'm always happy when others enjoy my chibis, or when I can convert someone to like mShenko :giggle:, but getting you to pick up drawing again is a special achievement in its own :D
